The history of the Corporation

Kirrawe Indigenous Corporation is a not for profit community based organisation providing culturally responsive services and support to meet the needs of the Indigenous community on the northern end of the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia 

 

The organisation became incorporated in August 2010, under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006, is a Deductible Gift Recipient, Public Benevolent Institution and registered Charity - Registration Number: CH 205, under the Collections Act 1966 

Target Group

Disadvantaged and marginalised Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, living on the northern end of the Gold Coast

Kirrawe Indigenous Corporation is dedicated to closing the gap and rebuilding those lives affected by the cycles of intergeneration trauma; abuse and addictions; unemployment; poverty; homelessness; neglect; child removal. 

 

 

 

Kirrawe Indigenous Corporation acknowledges the diversity of Aboriginal communities and will ensure that all services are innovative, creative and healing-based.
